Saint-Gobain Showroom

Designing a showroom for one of the world's leading manufacturers of construction and high-performance materials.

We were asked to design a showroom for Saint-Gobain’s Nordic headquarters located in the impressive 8-House in Copenhagen – a contemporary building in Copenhagen designed by BIG Architects. To compliment both the strong company history of continuous innovation as well as the architecture, the showroom is designed to be minimalistic and raw but with a Scandinavian feel.

The Lobby

Visitors arrive in a lobby area, that creatively showcases Saint-Gobain’s products. One wall features a 3m wide interactive world map projection on state-of-the-art Saint-Gobain glass. Another wall features backlit acoustic wall panels. The panel lighting changes the mood of the room to reflect the time of day. These contemporary installations are combined with classic and iconic Finn Juhl furniture to underline the geographical location of the Nordic headquarters.

The Main Showroom

Inside the main showroom, visitors are invited to explore Saint-Gobain’s innovative solutions inside an abstract 13-feet tall steel construction. It is only when seen from the outside that the steel construction becomes clear: When viewed from street level, the abstract structure form the Saint-Gobain logo. The logo comes to life at night through a gradient of colorful lights. This adds a colorful sparkle to the entire neighborhood during the cold and dark winter months.
