The Danish Consumer Council, Forbrugerrådet Tænk, is an independent membership organisation founded in 1947. The organisation works for the promotion of sustainable and socially responsible consumption and efficient markets. Determined to grow the number of members, The Danish Consumer Council needed to revitalize their brand identity to become more relevant to a new generation of consumers.


We created a new visual identity built on a fairly simple idea: We used one of the most iconic symbols of “consumers taking a stand” as the foundation of the visual identity: The Sign. By making the on-going fight for consumer rights the focal point of all points of contact, The Danish Consumer Council got a strong and consistent visual identity that continues to reflect the core values of the organisation.
