A state-of-the-art showroom for Saint-Gobain’s Nordic headquarters
Challenge
A seamless integration of the showroom within the iconic 8-House, a landmark designed by BIG Architects in Copenhagen
To honor Saint-Gobain’s rich legacy of innovation, the design had to embody the company’s heritage while fusing it with the essence of Scandinavian design.
Solution
From the entrance, visitors are met by a big interactive map that explains Saint-Gobain’s company history. While on the opposing wall there’s a light-up sound panel installation that changes colors depending on the time of day.
The Main Showroom is made of a big steel structure featuring some of Saint-Gobain’s most cutting edge products. From the outside, this structure looks like the Saint-Gobain logo. At night, this logo lights up with different colors, brightening up the area in the darker months.
Impact
The showroom offers visitors a clear and engaging look at what Saint-Gobain does, while also fitting in with the modern design of the 8-House.
